[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]Peter D. Sunukjian is Of Counsel with Briggs & Alexander and is one of the leaders of the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on Civil Litigation in a business context. He has taken cases to successful bench and jury verdicts in a variety of areas, including complex Civil Litigation, Contract Disputes, Insurance Coverage, Derivative Actions, Wrongful Termination, Commercial Leaseholds, Trademark and Patent Infringement, Wage and Hour, Discrimination and Harassment, and False Claims Act. He is also experienced with Class Actions, Pharmaceutical Defense, ERISA Litigation, Union Avoidance Consultation, and Probate Proceedings.
Mr. Sunukjian is a member of the California Bar Association’s Jury Instructions Committee. He is licensed to practice law in California, in the U.S. District Courts in the Southern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California, in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Federal Circuits, and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals—Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.
Mr. Sunukjian received his law degree in 1998 from the University of Texas, where he graduated magna cum laude and was an Associate Editor on the Texas Law Review.
