[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]Leon Alexander is Founding Owner of Briggs & Alexander, APLC and with former DA Robert Briggs. Robert Briggs is now since retired and Leon Alexander manages the law operation.

Leon passed the bar in 1987 and is a Corporate Business Transactional specialist in addition to an expertise in Eminent Domain/Inverse Condemnation and Land Use matters. Specifically, Leon has developed a concentration in Land Use Regulation, Planning, Zoning Law, Eminent Domain and Inverse Condemnation.

Leon’s practical experience includes taking on Cal Trans in the I-5 freeway widening for inverse condemnation which successfully obtained lucrative condemnation settlements and judgments for his clients.

Leon has served as general counsel to the retail tire chain, Discount Tire Centers and American Tire Depot, and now the practice has expanded to representing several hundred small businesses in helping them manage day-to-day legal affairs with consultation in buying/selling of businesses, regulatory compliance, asset protection, employer relations, trade secret and trade name protection, intellectual property.

Leon is a native of Orange County, California. Born and raised in Anaheim, he is an advocate of serving his hometown and small businesses throughout Orange County.

Leon was successful in overturning a trade name by a competitor through writ of mandate of a tire company with over 500 stores, eventually leading to a change in name from Discount to Americas Tire Company.

Leon was also Student Body President of California State University of Fullerton during the years 1981-1982 and is now involved with the Armenian Rug Society where he serves as general counsel.

Leon continues to manage and run the family business started by his grandfather in 1935 called Alexander Rugs located in Anaheim and Laguna Beach, California. He is an expert in identifying Oriental rugs and providing thorough knowledge within the field.
